La Piazza is a VPN Certified Neapolitan Pizzeria. VPN stands for Verace Pizza Napoletana (True Napoletana Pizza). The VPN association is the only non-profit organization that safe guards and promises the culture of real artisan Neapolitan Pizza Worldwide.
Since 1984 with help from the local chamber of commerce and regional Italian government in Naples, the association certifies pizzerias that produce pizza strictly adhering to the set of guidelines based on Neapolitan tradition. La Piazza Famiglia is very proud and humbled to be a part of the VPN association and we guarantee that all ingredients, from the flour, to the house made mozzarella, to the tomatoes, are all of the highest quality, and comply with all Neapolitan standards.
Our three restaurants were born from family tradition, passion, and a desire to be a dining destination for friends and family to gather for great food. We wanted to serve Pizzas just like the old country, using methods and recipes dating back many years. The same as you would find in any city in Italy, especially Naples, the birthplace of Pizza, and also our family before us.
We use only the finest ingredients, including homemade mozzarella, homemade dough and San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. Stop in for lunch or an evening out in one of Arizona's most charming cities, and enjoy some of our award-winning pizza.
